Soccer at Yankee Stadium is Weird
Screaming Eagles News and Events

We've got one major road trip left for the regular season, and we saved you a spot!
King of the Road Jimi has arranged for a ride to Yankee Stadium this weekend to support the Black-and-Red as they take on David Villa's NYCFC.
Road trips are a blast, so we hope you'll join us!

DC SCORES and More
On Monday, the men's soccer teams from Maryland and UVA faced off for the first-ever college match at Audi Field! The two teams played to a draw. Come back any time, gents!
This week DC SCORES kicked off their Fall SCORES season.
Over 2500 poet-athletes at 65 sites in the D.C. region will spend the next 12 weeks participating in poetry and creative writing sessions, team-building activities, and of course, soccer!
You can join the team too - DC SCORES is in need of volunteer referees!
There is a new GoFundMe site taking donations to help longtime United supporter Big Rob handle medical and living expenses in his battle against leukemia.
United is also auctioning off an away jersey signed by the team after last weekend's Atlanta match - proceeds will benefit Rob's fund, so get bidding!
You can never have too many jerseys, and this one is for a really good cause.
In the News
After a thrilling match in which D.C. United crushed Atlanta's winning streak by scoring three goals against the visitors, Luciano Acosta, Bill Hamid, and Paul Arriola were named to the MLS Team of the Week. This comes as a surprise to: precisely no one.
United now has 30 points and now sits seventh in the Eastern Conference. We see you, playoff spot.
Speaking of Paul Arriola...congratulations are in order, as the midfielder/defender/what-can't-he-do has earned himself a USMNT callup!
Paul will be on the roster for upcoming friendlies this month against Brazil (9/7) and Mexico (9/11). United will have to do without him this weekend against NYCFC.
The team bench will be tested as Zoltan Stieber (Hungary) and Junior Moreno (Venezuela) will also be with their respective national teams.
There are also a variety of ways to volunteer with us this season, whether with our tailgate crew, with the tifo team, or in leading drumming and cheers. Interested? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have Audi Field seating questions? Ask our amazing Ticketmistress at email@example.com.
All are Welcome!
