What a Weekend!
Let's Keep the Streak Going
Complete chaos at the end with Russell Canouse heroics bringing an emotional night to a fine conclusion with high fives all around the grounds!
Time to solidify our hold on that spot over Montreal and maybe even climb higher in the standings with a victory over another Canadian side.

DC SCORES Rocks October
What an absolute frenzy of activity for DC SCORES this month!
It began with the gala One Night One Goal event, and you can now flick through the photos to see if you recognize any familiar faces.
Or how about all the awesome shots from Fall Frenzy of the kids having a blast at Trinity?
With the run of home games, group after group of these cool poet-athletes from all over the city are getting their chance to experience Audi Field in Section 138.
Mark your calendars and join Charity Blackwell on Thursday, October 25th for DC SCORES Youth
Open Mic at Busboys and Poets Brookland, from 7 to 9pm.
United We Stand
One Black-and-Red player who has volunteered extensively with DC SCORES this season is second-year defender Chris Odoi-Atsem. Time and again, Chris has stepped up for DC SCORES, whether it was helping out at this year's SCORE Awards, or pitching in at the new Petworth mini-pitch unveiling.
Odoi-Atsem has battled repeated injuries this season, but he is now taking on an even more serious fight. Today it was announced that he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, and will shortly begin a four-month course of chemotherapy. The cancer has not spread, and doctors expect Chris to make a full recovery. We look forward to celebrating his return to full health in 2019.
Putting Roots Down in the Community
A light drizzle did nothing to dampen the spirits of the Black and Red volunteers who came out Sunday morning and dug in for a great cause!
Check out some of the pictures from the Syphax Gardens Tree Planting!
Thanks to the leadership of Tommy and the Earth Conservation Corps' crew, fans of all ages were able join local residents to put in serviceberry, crepe myrtle, and red maple to mitigate storm water runoff and improve air quality for our Buzzard Point neighbors.
The event was also a chance for Jason Levien and some of the new members of the front office to meet Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner Rhonda Hamilton and other local leaders face-to-face.
Thanks, Jason, Dave and Chris
Kudos to Jason Levien for spending the time to listen to and welcome feedback from supporters in a comfortable and collegial open forum.
Special thanks to Chris Hull and Dave Johnson for staying long after the official event was over to keep the conversations going!
Some pics from the Supporters' Q & A with Jason Levien at the EagleBank Club are up.
The continuing dialogue with the leadership of the team is heartening, and we hope there will be many more opportunities for future input!
