Wine and Good Cheer

November may be wet and rainy, but Screaming Eagles members and guests were cozy and warm last weekend on our Winery Road Trip.

We were joined on our tour of three Loudoun County wineries by Adam Behnke, the Chief Operating Officer of new USL club Loudoun United FC...and he brought swag!

Check out the photos from the road trip, and join the revelry on our next one!

Kudos to our Richmond affiliate members, who recently held their 4th annual Screaming Eagles Volunteer Day.

Members packed 1400 boxes of food for FeedMore, who runs Meals on Wheels and other emergency food assistance programs. That's 15,000 pounds of food - way to go, gang!

Spreading Goodwill

#GivingTuesday is here! How about taking a break from all the shopping madness, and donating to an awesome non-profit?

Tonight also brings the spoken word performance event of the season: Our Words Our City. The evening will showcase the performances of talented DC SCORES alumni - we promise it will be an evening you won't soon forget. Join us!

In the News

The rumor mill is busy, and there is talk on Bolivian television that international signing Bruno Miranda may not be returning to the Black-and-Red next season.

In an interview with the Jamaican Star, striker Darren Mattocks provided few clues about whether he will be returning for a second season in D.C.

As of press time, United had not yet released its list of whose contracts will be renewed for 2019.

Looking for a take on who D.C. should protect in the upcoming FC Cincinnati expansion draft? Black and Red United has you covered.

While D.C. United's early exit from the MLS Playoffs still stings, we admit that watching Atlanta United deliver a crushing 3-0 defeat to the Metros on Sunday provided a healing balm of sorts.

Portland and SKC battled it out to a 0-0 draw, but New Jersey could not keep it together, and had zero possession starts in the attacking third during the first 45.

We're no fans of the Five Stripes, but we do look forward to seeing BWP and the Metros lose again on Thursday.

Developing the Fifth Star

Congratulations to the DMV P2P U12's for winning the Generation Adidas Cup!

This victory was made even sweeter by the opponent they conquered in the finals: RBNY. We are also pleased to report that their cheering prowess is also impressive.

Lucas Sarvas, the son of former D.C. United player Marcelo Sarvas, picked up the Golden Ball for most impactful player of the tourney.

The team was composed of players from four different clubs within D.C. United Academy's P2P partnership: Arlington Soccer, Loudoun Soccer, Pipeline and VDA.

Fresh off his impressive goal-laden debut for the USYNT in the U17 International Tournament against powers Brazil and England, DCU Youth Academy's Griffin Yow will be suiting up in the Nike Friendlies to face Portugal, Turkey and the rematch with Brazil this week!

All can follow along as every match will be live-streamed!
