No Rain, No Gain!
Now THAT'S how you start a season!
Cold. Soaking wet. Thoroughly delightful. That was fun!
Thanks to the hundreds of you who helped make our first tailgate of the season such a success - we hope you had as much fun as we did! We're particularly proud of that new foosball table.
Here's hoping that the next home game brings better weather, so that we can all enjoy that lovely back deck. Ahhh, March.

There are only a few days left to book a seat on the bus for our trip to NYC this Sunday! Want to attend the match without driving all that way? Let us handle the details - sit back, relax, and get ready to cheer! Or if you'd rather handle your own travel arrangements but still need a match ticket, we can do that too.
It's our first away match of the season - make it memorable!
Sunday 3.10 starting at 9 am | Match at 3 pm
$60 for members / $70 for non-members
Ticket-only: $31 for everyone
Can't make the road trip but still want to watch the match with fellow supporters? We've got you covered:
NYCFC v D.C. United Viewing Party
Across the Pond | starts at 2 pm
1732 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC
The Aerie is Open!
Our friends from DC SCORES kicked off United's season in [soggy] style, too! Students from Truesdell Education Campus attended the match as our guests in Section 138 (The Aerie), adjacent to the North Stands.
As part of our Supporters Academy, poet-athletes from DC SCORES programs all over the District will attend United matches for free all season long. We can't wait!
DC SCORES is looking for volunteers, as well. Interested in helping coach a team, or perhaps in refereeing a few matches? Sign up today!
Please, Sir, We Want Some More.
We've just about dried off from Sunday night, but we'd gladly watch United play in the rain all season long if they're going to play like that!
With focus, determination, and something to prove, the Black-and-Red hit the pitch running last weekend, and put on a showstopper of a match. Despite fielding mostly first-team players, Atlanta was unprepared for United's intensity. A late first-half goal from Paul Arriola (following a Wayne Rooney corner) started the celebrations, which continued after halftime when Luciano Acosta fired one past Atlanta's Brad Guzan.
A largely solid defense and a pair of crucial saves from Bill Hamid kept Atlanta's much-vaunted but Almiron-deficient offense largely quiet. Recent signing Lucas "Titi" Rodriguez showed why United scouts were so keen to have him join the team - this kid can PLAY!
Next: The first away match of the season, against NYCFC. Want to join us? Get on the bus!

On a different subject, the USWNT did not fare so well in its most recent SheBelieves Cup match, managing only a tie against England. With only two points and one match to go, this historic powerhouse is looking fairly lackluster. There are just three months to go until Women's World Cup in France - can they turn it around? We believe!
Catch the USWNT tonight as they finish out the tournament:
USA v Brazil
8 pm | FS1
Ready for the next home match? The tailgate for the RSL match on the 16th starts at 4 pm. We have some pretty awesome tailgate volunteers (pictured), but we could always use a few more - we'll have a sign-up option available soon!
How about a road trip? We're off to NYC this Sunday - get on the bus!
