Perfect Spot for Black and Red Fans

Parking Lots and Palm Trees

Still looking for that perfect parking spot for matches? We can help with that. We received such positive feedback for our parking partnership with the Earth Conservation Corps that we're at it again!

This time we've teamed up with local community Syphax Gardens (some of whose residents work at Audi Field) to offer you another great deal. One of lots closest to the stadium with easy access to Gates B and C is now available for only $400!

The fee will cover all remaining home games for the remainder of the season (beginning April 6) including any post-season matches. Syphax Gardens resident volunteers will supervise the lot on game days to keep an eye on your vehicle. And the best part? The money goes directly back into Syphax Gardens itself!

We've only got about a dozen spots available, so if you're interested, let us know ASAP! Priority will be given to current Screaming Eagles members (sign up for membership here).

Youth Academy Stars are Aligned

What a whirlwind week for the Yow family: 16 year-old Griffin has signed as D.C. United's 12th homegrown star!

Already floating on cloud nine after having scored the historic first goal for Loudoun United FC, Griffin now tops that with a professional contract. He has made the massive leap from high school sophomore to receiving his new club jersey from Wazza himself with aplomb!

For those who have watched the kid from Clifton during his rapid rise from club ball at SYA, to representing Virginia and the Region in ODP, to leading Virginia Development Academy and D.C. United Academy sides, and finally scoring for the USYNT U17 squad, what has stood out is not only Griffin's relentless drive to improve, but his humility.

As Chris Hull's lengthy interview demonstrates, this young man is firmly grounded and has a great support structure around him. We wish him all the best on his journey!

While Griffin watched from the sidelines on Saturday, his peers put on their own show against their Development Academy rivals from Philly.

Despite giving up a PK and going down a man in the opening minutes of the match, the U17's proved their mettle by battling back and taking full control with Ted Ku-Dipietro's hat trick.

Every player on the team stepped up and demonstrated their potential against one of the nation's top DA programs. Bryang Kayo and Moses Nyeman completely played their opposition off the park in the 4-2 victory!

The U19's followed this offensive explosion by grinding out another well-deserved 1-0 win on a Kyle Davis goal.

This result was particularly impressive due to the defensive work of three U17s playing up: Sebastian Falsone, Maddux Reece and Mateo Cuadros contributed in limiting Union chances and keeping them scoreless. Well done, guys!

Soccer Saturday was jam-packed, as the Washington Spirit also hosted Girondins de Bordeaux on a chilly night at the Plex. Plenty of promise from the NWSL side as they eventually fell 3-1 to the professionals from France in midseason form.

The women's game is alive and thriving across the globe in the run up to this summer's World Cup, so get out and support the local team! You can even do so at Audi Field for a match or two this season.

Good luck to former Spirit and USWNT star Lori Lindsey, who has been nominated to the US Soccer Hall of Fame for the second time.

Vamos!
