STANDING UP FOR D.C. UNITED SINCE 1995
Location, Location, Location
Audi Field, D.C. United’s new stadium in Buzzard Point, is open for business! The new state-of-the-art stadium is located less than a mile from two Metro stations (Waterfront & Navy Yard), and also offers bike valet. The facility has capacity for 20,000 fans, and in addition to serving as D.C. United's home turf, it will also host other sporting events, concerts, and cultural events.

On January 26th, 2018 United and the Screaming Eagles celebrated Audi Field's Topping Off Ceremony, where the last steel beam was laid.
Fans were invited out to make their mark by signing the final structural piece.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring guests including D.C.'s Mayor Bowser was held on July 9th, 2018 at the stadium. Players including Captain Steven Birnbaum and newly-acquired international superstar Wayne Rooney spoke to the crowd, and many United players stayed after the ceremony to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans.
On July 14th, 2018 came the day that everyone had been waiting for (some for a very, very long time): the first match at Audi Field! United blew the metaphorical roof off the place with a strong performance and a 3-1 victory over the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps. On a beautiful sunny day that turned into a lovely evening, a sellout crowd of over 20,500 fans celebrated from start to finish. What a historic event!
