If you can help us, please send an email to Thea at thea@screaming-eagles.com

Tifo for Saturday

Tim always needs volunteers to help make display stuff AND help in the SE Nest on game day (obviously the more help we have the more stuff we can do). If you’re handy and crafty, can come up with clever slogans or strong enough to hold stuff up we want to hear from you! Please send an email to Tim at tifo@screaming-eagles.com

UPDATE (9.23.08) : Well, as you can see, the migration is complete.  Sorry about the interruption of service yesterday.  The hamster got stuck in the habitrail.

As you were.

UPDATE (9.21.08) : We’ve had a problem with the scheduled change.  As of now, the migration has not occurred. Will keep you posted.

Hey everybody, Gaffer here.

This weekend, our hosting service will be moving the site from one server cluster to another.  This will help us with some functionality in the future, allowing us to bring some very nice features to the site that are not currently available to us.

The hosting service has warned that our site may be down for up to 6 hours while the DNS Caches.

Please be patient if this is the case.  We will be making the switch some time tomorrow evening, most likely during the match at LA.

Cheers,

Gaffer

    Washington, DC

    Sept 20, 2008 — 9am to noon

Join fellow DC United fans as we again help out on International Coastal Cleanup Day and put our efforts into cleaning up our favorite riverbank (and you can see what Poplar Point looks like).

D.C. United supporters of all ages are welcome to participate and we are certainly expecting a great turnout for this community outreach activity.

The site we’ve chosen is located at Anacostia Park. We will all meet around the picnic tables that are covered beside the small playground. Use the Nicholson Street entrance to the park, you’ll see a parking lot and the picnic area on the left.

Bring sunscreen, bug repellant, a hat and long heavy rubber gloves (heavy duty kitchen gloves are good)

    Congrats to Sarah !
